How to Identify if Your Banco SEMEAR Boleto Is Genuine

If you’ve received a boleto and are unsure of its authenticity, follow the steps below before making any payment:
- Check your personal data: name, CPF, and address must be correct. Small errors may signal fraud.
- Confirm the boleto amount: the last digits of the barcode must match the payment value.
- Verify the start of the barcode: legitimate Banco SEMEAR boletos always begin with number 743.
- Be suspicious of unexpected discounts or promotions — especially if sent through unofficial channels.
- Check beneficiary information: name, CNPJ, and Banco SEMEAR’s address must be accurate. If in doubt, confirm on our website.
- Always use the barcode reader instead of typing manually.
- Before confirming payment, check if the beneficiary’s name is correct.
This quick verification takes only a few seconds — and can save you from financial loss.
